Uniswap is a protocol that allows users to buy and sell (by the swapping digital assets) ERC-20 tokens without the use of an order book.

Using an algorithmic equation, Uniswap automatically determines the swap-rate based on the available liquidity and demand for the swappable assets.

Trust Wallet is an easy-to-use, multi-crypto wallet that can connect with and trade over several Decentralized-Exchanges (DEXs). Trust Wallet’s server-free infrastructure ensures that only you have access to your funds.

By reading this simple tutorial, you will find all the necessary steps laid out for you to connect Uniswap with Trust Wallet.

Method #1 – Starting with the Dapp browser on Android

  1. In your Trust Wallet, press the four squares at the bottom of the screen, and then scroll down to Exchanges
  2. Click on Uniswap. The exchange will appear within a few seconds and the wallet should be detected automatically.
  3. From here, swapping is simple: first, select the cryptocurrency you’d like to spend, followed by the crypto you’d like to receive.
  4. Enter the amount required for the swap and, once you’re happy with your choice, click Swap
  5. You’ll be shown a confirmation of the transaction (tx) and if everything appears correct, click Confirm.
  6. If you have a password/lock code set, you’ll be required to enter it.

Once you approve the tx, it will be sent to the blockchain to be processed. The changes will be reflected in your wallet, momentarily.

Method #2 – How to use Uniswap with Trust Wallet connect

For this method, you’ll need two devices: one with the Trust Wallet app installed and the other device (like a computer) with access to the internet.

  1. Once on your computer, head to the Uniswap exchange.
  2. Click Connect Wallet, followed by Wallet Connect.
  3. Next, open the settings in your Trust Wallet and click Wallet Connect.
  4. Scan the QR code on the computer screen. The wallet should then connect to your browser!
  5. From here, swapping is simple: first, select the cryptocurrency you’d like to spend, followed by the crypto you’d like to receive.
  6. Enter the amount for the swap and once you’re happy with your choice, click Swap
  7. You’ll be shown a confirmation of the transaction (tx), and if everything appears correct, click Confirm.

Trust Wallet will ask you to sign the tx on your phone. Once approved, the tx will be submitted to the blockchain for processing. The changes will be reflected in your wallet, momentarily.
